Alright folks, buckle up because we're diving into the deep waters of the DCGOP Officers election. Now, the Trans Republicans have been throwing around words like "Unity" and "Experience" as if it’s confetti at Parker Pride Fest. But let's cut through the fluff and get to the heart of the matter: who really has what it takes to lead the Douglas County GOP and uphold our conservative values and principles for everyone?
First off, let's discuss Time. If you've attended the DCGOP Central Committee meetings, you know the routine. Some candidates have attendance records that make Ferris Bueller look like a model citizen. We need officers who aren't just appearing after announcing their candidacy but are genuinely engaged with us. Those that have been actively involved at parades, candidate events, and, most importantly, knocking on doors for “GOTV”. This isn't about simply clocking in; it's about understanding the heartbeat of Douglas County GOP from the ground up.
Next up, Treasure. I'm not suggesting we should judge solely based on who has the deepest pockets, but let's be honest. If you're not putting your own money into the cause, how committed are you really? Donors for the GOP aren't just writing checks; they're demonstrating that they're invested in the success of the party and its candidates.
Now, let's discuss Talent. Sure, everyone has a talent, but without the time and resources to learn and understand it, it's like attempting to run a marathon in flip-flops. You need experience to develop that talent into something beneficial to run the DCGOP. It's not just about what you can show on paper; it's about what you've actually accomplished in the real world of DCGOP politics.
This election on February 3, 2025, isn't just another day at the office. It's a chance to weed out the Trans Republicans and ensure our county doesn't turn into their playground. We're looking for True Grassroots Conservative Republicans, those who aren't just talking the talk but have been walking the walk for the past year or longer.
So, do your homework. Look beyond the promises and the email campaign hyperbole. Check the candidate’s records, their past DCGOP commitments, and their actual GOP and candidate contributions to our cause, “Tracer”. We need leaders who've proven they can fight for MAGA values.
Remember, this isn't about unity with those who dilute our conservative values and principles; it's about unity in our mission to restore conservative governance in Douglas County and support the GOP 2024 platform. Make your choice wisely because experience isn't just a buzzword; it's the backbone of effective leadership.
