Parker Conservatives Third Year Anniversary

Three years ago, in April 2021, amidst the Colorado lockdowns, J6, and the dawn of the Biden administration, Pam and I embarked on what would become one of our most challenging adventures yet. We decided it was high time for voices like ours to be heard and for conservative principles for American First values to stand tall in Parker and Douglas County. Our first meeting was set in the Laszlo Hotel Bar and Restaurant after our unceremonious ejection from West Main. It was a pivotal moment, one that would not have been possible without the efforts of Danielle Ozaluk, who provided us with a space for our meeting and Doug’s Day Dinner, filling the breakfast orders.

That morning, as I gripped the microphone, I looked out at the 35 faces before me. Each one a testament to the belief that even the smallest gatherings can ignite change. That very photo of me, microphone in hand, has become an enduring symbol of our beginnings, a reminder of the day we all took a stand together. If you were there that morning, know that Pam and I are eternally grateful.

Over the years, the political landscape has been both a teacher and a battleground. I’ve met a myriad of individuals, each with their own story and their own perspective. These encounters have profoundly shaped my views, challenging me to reconsider my stance on many issues I thought I had nailed down, like the Caucus system. Once skeptical, I’ve come to see its value through the guidance and sometimes blunt wake-up calls from some of our great grassroots conservative leaders. I’ve learned that if we want candidates who truly represent our conservative values, we must advocate for closed Republican primaries, put an end to petitioning onto the primary ballot, and keep the Caucus alive for generations to come.

Today, Parker Conservatives stands strong with 1,600 members across Facebook and our direct mailing list. This journey, filled with learning and growth, wouldn’t have been possible without your unwavering support and encouragement. The future of Parker Conservatives is an unwritten path, but Pam and I are committed to pushing forward and never relenting in our fight for the conservative values that bind us as a community, as citizens of Parker and Douglas County, and as part of this great nation.

To all who have joined us, from the original 35 to the newest members, thank you. Your faith, your support, and your dedication fuel this movement. As we look ahead, let’s continue to stand united, champion the conservative principles we hold dear, and face whatever challenges come our way with the same resolve and spirit that has brought us this far. Here’s to the past three incredible years and to the many more ahead of us. Let's keep the flame of conservatism burning bright in Parker, in Douglas County, and across America.

THANK YOU!
