When Swinging a Hammer, don't Hit your Hand

Have you ever watched someone deliberately smack their hand with a hammer, and as you rush over to help, they just stand up and do it again? It’s the kind of bewildering, self-destructive behavior that leaves you scratching your head in disbelief. Now, if that person were leading a country (and they are), you’d have a pretty accurate picture of the Biden administration.

Why, you might ask, does it seem like our elected officials are so hell-bent on policies that are the equivalent of smacking our hands over and over with that hammer? It's a question worth digging into, especially when those very policies trample over the Constitution and the conservative values we hold dear.

Let's consider, for a moment, how nations traditionally acted in their own best interest. It's a simple concept, you do what's best for your people, your economy, your national security. If there's a conflict with another country, you negotiate, you might even go to war, or you find some middle ground. But you always, always put your people first. But not the Biden administration.

Yet, here we are, witnessing a strange era where Western nations, including our own, are adopting globalist policies that directly contradict the interests of us, the citizens. Why, for instance, are farmers in Europe blockading roads with tractors? Because their governments, in a misguided crusade against climate change, are implementing policies that will inevitably lead to food shortages and skyrocketing prices. Those same policies are coming to America, some are already here.

And what’s the Biden administration doing along with the Uniparty? Embracing every aspect of this irrationality. They're hamstringing our energy independence, kneecapping our agricultural sector, and seemingly doing everything they can to make life more expensive and less free for the average American. It's as if they’re more concerned with the approval of globalist climate conferences than the well-being of the folks right here in America.

So why this self-destructive streak? The harsh truth is that many of our politicians don’t see their primary role as serving their citizens anymore. This is true in Parker, Douglas County, Colorado, and at the Federal level. They see themselves as citizens of the world, if asked they will proudly tell you that. They're on a quest to solve global problems that do not exist, even if it means ignoring the very real problems at their doorstep. These arrogant elected officials and bureaucrats treat us as small children who don’t know what’s good, so they must dictate solutions to us.

Take the energy sector, for instance. It’s no secret that energy independence is key to our national security and America’s economic prosperity. Yet, the Biden administration is determined to undermine it at every turn. They restrict oil exploration, throw up roadblocks for pipeline permits, and seem intent on making us more dependent on Green and foreign energy. And for what? To appease some nebulous global agenda that China and India won’t lose a wink of sleep over.

It's a bitter pill to swallow when you realize that while China ramps up coal production, we’re being told to cut back on everything from air travel to meat consumption and be ready to give up our gas stoves and air conditioning. This isn’t rational behavior, it's the politics of self-flagellation, and the Biden administration is winning the Gold Medal.

The reality is stark, countries like China act in their own interest, and we act... well, also in their interest. That's why you're seeing a surge of support for leaders who aren’t afraid to put America First. People are tired of seeing their leaders kowtow to global interests while they can barely afford to fill their gas tanks and buy food in the same week.

Remember, my fellow citizens, the ultimate power lies with us, the voters. It’s time to support strong grassroots candidates (not Establishment, not RINOs) who will look after our interests, who will fight for our constitutional rights, and who will ensure that America doesn’t just become a footnote in someone else’s global fantasy.
