Oh, how the progressives love to oversimplify! A reader recently asked, “Why does Lauren Boebert have fans?” Let me clear the air for those who have questions.
First, calling us “blind followers” is as original as saying water is wet. Here in Douglas County, we don’t just follow; we lead with conservative values and principles. Lauren Boebert isn’t just a candidate; she’s an amplifier for the Constitution, for freedom, and yes, for the good ol’ American way that seems to irk the Establishment politicians as much as the Progressive Left.
Lauren Boebert chose the right battlefield in her move to the 4th District to amplify not just her voice but the voice of every conservative in Colorado looking for leadership, not ignorance, in their representative. And most importantly for her, she found a great home in Windsor where she can raise her three boys in an environment where they can thrive.
Lauren Boebert’s resolve is the stuff of legend. Just days after a major surgery, she could’ve taken the easy road, resting on the laurels of having her ballot signatures to qualify for the primary election. Instead, she stood with us in CD4, through the entire Colorado GOP Assembly, not just for a token appearance but to fight, to vote, to engage with her constituents. This isn’t mere attendance; it’s a testament to her unyielding spirit, a warrior who doesn’t just show up for battle but stays till the last shot is fired.
What many of us see in Lauren Boebert is a woman who stands up in a room full of yes-men and dares to say “no.” She’s not there to make friends in Congress; she’s there to represent us, the often ignored, the patriots who believe in less government, more liberty, and the Second Amendment. We back Boebert for her legislative wins, not her private life. It’s her fight for the Constitution and freedoms that earn our loyalty.
You mistake our support for blind allegiance. No, we support Lauren Boebert because she fights, she leads, and yes, she runs against the grain, something the tepid, play-it-safe politicians have forgotten how to do. Here’s a thought: maybe, just maybe, we’re fans of freedom, not just a politician.
