Apathy Is a Hell of a Drug: How We Conservatives Let Colorado Burn

The other night, I spoke to a group of patriots, good, honest, God-fearing folks, and the question came up: “How did we get here?”
Let me warn you now, you might not like my answer. The brutal truth is this: “we did this." Yes, “WE," the once-mighty conservative backbone of Colorado. We didn’t just drop the ball; we gift wrapped it, kissed it goodbye, and buried it somewhere next to our copy of the Constitution and any sense of civic responsibility. While the Left was building their “Blueprint,” we were busy building patios and buying new SUVs.
We got lazy. We got comfortable. We got distracted. Stock market up? Great! Let’s not worry about the CRT loving lunatic running unopposed for school board races or the city/town council. Gas is cheap? Awesome! No need to show up at that county GOP meeting where the establishment just handed another leadership role to a lukewarm “Republican” with no spine.
While we were busy believing that “it’ll all work out,” the progressive machine went to work. They infiltrated every metro district, water board, school board, every commission, and every clerk and recorder’s office. They took the long march through the institutions while we took a long nap on our new patio. And now? Now we’re the ones facing excessive taxation, silenced through censorship, losing our 2A rights, and governed by a party that believes boys belong in girls’ bathrooms and that criminals deserve hugs and our tax dollars.
Can this be reversed? Maybe. But not with the group of milquetoast RINO’s currently running the Colorado GOP. These people couldn’t rally a bonfire in a fireworks factory. They’re too busy playing with lawyers and the very swamp creatures who sold us out. And let’s be honest, they wouldn’t know a grassroots movement if it ran them over with a pickup truck flying a Gadsden flag.
So, here’s your wake-up call: either we organize, energize, and weaponize our passion for liberty… or we can keep lamenting about how blue this state’s has gotten, and consider moving out of Colorado each and every day.
The first line in the sand is simple: show the Coup Crew, aka the Horninistas, the exact same “grace” they showed the last Colorado GOP administration. Translation? NONE! Don’t give them a single damn dime. Not one penny. In fact, I’d go further: don’t give a cent to “any” of these bloated, consultant-run organizations. If you’re serious about saving Colorado, give directly to the candidates and ballot measures that actually reflect your values. Because if you donate to the Colorado GOP right now, chances are that money will end up propping up some weak-kneed, flag-pin-wearing “little r” who folds faster than a card table under pressure. Our dollars need to go to fighters, not to the establishment’s next failed experiment in appeasement.
The Left took Colorado inch by inch. If we want it back, we’ll have to fight tooth and nail for every damn inch to take it back, on our own. Because let’s face it the Horninistas will be zero help to real conservatives.
