First off, let's talk about "affordability." Polis loves to brag about making life more affordable. Really? Tell that to the hardworking families watching their property taxes skyrocket while their income stays stagnant. He has the nerve to claim that Colorado's economy is thriving under his leadership, but ask any small business owner how easy it has been to navigate the maze of new regulations and high operational costs. It's like trying to swim through a Colorado state park pit restroom! And don’t get me started on the egg fiasco Polis has caused. Eggs are now costing 2 to 3 times more than before the regulation, which hardly screams “affordability”!

And then there's the environment. Polis and his green brigade have turned Colorado into a petri dish for testing all sorts of outlandish climate policies. We're expected to be grateful for his "innovative" approaches to energy, which really means higher bills for us while he congratulates himself for saving the planet. Meanwhile, our energy independence is being surrendered to windmills and solar panels that fail to function when the sun sets or the wind doesn't blow. Brilliant!

Public safety? Don't make me laugh. Polis and his sidekick, Phil Weiser, push their soft-on-crime policies that have made our streets less safe, not more. He's more concerned with the rights of illegal aliens and criminals than the safety of Colorado law-abiding citizens. Crime rates are up, but hey, at least we're "progressive," right?

Education is another shining example of Democrat distortion. Polis talks about "equity" in education, but what we're seeing is a dive in academic standards. Our kids are being taught to feel rather than to think critically, all while we get lectures on the virtues of socialism.
