Quit Your Whining or Hit the Highway!

Let me spell it out for that person in the back who seems to be hard of understanding, or perhaps just love the sound of their own complaints echoing in the void. Some folks on our page somehow flabbergasted that we're not hosting a roast session against Dave Williams, the Colorado State GOP Chair. And to that fine specimen of perpetual discontent, I ask: Have you been living under a rock, or are you genuinely that dense?

Here’s a little wake-up call: This page, our group, is not your personal soapbox for slandering figures who stand at the helm of conservative values and principles, just like we wouldn’t allow the same for President Trump. Ring any bells? Or is that too complex a policy for you to wrap your head around?

It’s pretty straightforward, folks. We are a private group. That means we set the rules. If this is the kind of reality that chafes, well, you know where the exit is, and no, we didn’t chain the door on your way in. We might as well help you find your way out if this concept is too much to handle, no sweat off our backs.

It’s fascinating, really, watching some of you spin your wheels in the mud of indignation. You’d think someone had outlawed complaining. Oh, the horror! It's almost as if other groups haven’t done the exact same thing, oh wait, they have. Even I’ve been banned from a few echo chambers on Facebook for not toeing their particular brand of the line. That’s the landscape. Not everyone has to like it, but you certainly have to accept it, because, and here’s the kicker, “you don’t run this page.”

So, here’s a free slice of life advice, on the house: Get over it. Start your own page if the itch to moan about Dave Williams is that unbearable. There, you can rain down all the criticism you want, anytime, with anyone who can tolerate you.
