The Ignorant Mob Attacking Dave Williams, in the Name of Unity

Patriots of Colorado’s true grassroot conservatives, take a read and learn about a masterclass in idiocy from the fire-hose-wielding Horninista’s minions accusing Dave Williams of “fraud” during his tenure as Colorado GOP Chair. These self-appointed asshats of virtue, armed with nothing but their own sub-70 IQs, have the nerve to take shots at a man who sacrificed for our conservative and Republican cause. Let’s shred their nonsense with facts and a healthy dose of sarcasm, shall we?

Dave Williams, in a move of fiscal genius, opted to be paid as a vendor through his LLC, Fox Group Ltd., saving the Colorado GOP a fortune in payroll taxes and benefits (oh no, he saved the party money!). Over two years, he was compensated $186,000, roughly $93,000 annually. Now, let’s break down the tax burden that these ignoramuses conveniently ignore, assuming standard rates for married filing jointly in Colorado from 2023-2024.

Assuming a standard deduction of $27,700 (2023 married filing jointly) and a $4,100 child tax credit for four kids ($16,400 total), Dave’s taxable income drops from $93,000 to roughly $65,300. Federal income tax at an effective rate of approximately 12% (22% bracket but credits lower it) amounts to about $7,836 per year. Colorado’s 4.25% flat state tax on $93,000, with no child credits applied, totals $3,953. As an LLC, Dave paid both sides of Social Security (12.4%) and Medicare (2.9%) on net earnings, totaling roughly $14,136 annually, assuming minimal deductions. The total taxes, including minor fees, are around $25,925 per year. His take-home pay is about a modest $67,075 annually, hardly the “scam” these dimwits envision. Let’s not even mention that there were times when Dave didn’t take any salary payments because KBB left the party in such a bad state financially.

These Horninista’s are tripping over their own egos; they don’t grasp basic tax law or the sacrifice of deferring payments to keep the party afloat. They scream “fraud” while Dave’s out here playing 4D chess with cash flow, saving the GOP from financial ruin. Their evidence? Gossip and a poorly done spreadsheet. Their expertise? Nonexistent. They’re the kind of people who’d leave the building burning while they debate who started the fire.

So, to the fraud-screeching Horninita’s mob: congratulations on embarrassing yourselves. You’ve proven you can’t do math, understand taxes, or appreciate a leader who puts the party first.
