WELD COUNTY RINOS BULLY THEIR WAYTO VICTORY WITH BRITA HORN AS PARTYCHAIR

Led by Republican State Senator Barb Kirkmeyer and former Grassroots hero Lauren Boebert, the Establishment took all three of the Colorado Republican Party’s top o@ices (Chair, Vice Chair and Secretary) in close votes (53% to 47%). They beat incumbent Grassroots o@icers Hope Scheppelman and Anna Ferguson for Vice Chair and Secretary and Lori Saine as a replacement for Dave Williams as Chair. The Weld County o@icers and bonus delegates were unanimously opposed to Dave Willams and any of his Grassroot supporters. The Weld County delegates even had a team uniform with red shirts adorned with phrases on back attacking Williams. They proudly declared themselves to be RINOs and some even had rhino hats on. They bullied and screamed at any Grassroots delegate who wandered over to their side of the auditorium. Seated with them were Republican Congresspersons Loren Bobert and Gabe Evans. Normally U.S. Congresspersons do not attend in person Republican Party conventions and assemblies. Bobert was, however, highly active including harassing candidates who dropped out of the Chair race to support and speak on behalf of Brita Horn. Grassroots candidate Darcy Schoening’s poor showing was perhaps the surprise of the meeting. She was at one time a favorite to take the Chair position but garnered only 14 votes from the 430 plus delegates. She had been badly hurt by revelations of criminal arrests and alleged unethical conduct as town trustee for the municipality of Monument. Congresswoman Boebert had conned Schoening by telling her she would nominate her at the meeting and then pulled out at the last moment to the intense embarrassment of Schoening. Another secretive Horn supporter was State Rep. Richard “Buckwheat” Holtorf who ran for Chair apparently planning to drop out after the first round and giving a speech in support of Horn. He, however, garnered only 68 votes so was not of much assistance to Horn. The new reign of the victorious Brita Horn did not start o@ well. She announced that her donors had bought box loads of pizza for all the hundreds of members at the meeting. But someone forgot to inform the red shirted Weld County bullies guarding the pizza boxes. Any member who came up to get some pizza was required to reveal who they voted for as Chair and if it was anyone but Horn they were chased away saying it was only for Horn supporters. If a person picked up some pizza who escaped their watchful eyes they would be chased down and forced to give back the pizza. When Horn got up to accept the Chairpersonship she emphasized “Unity” but got a chilly reception from the many delegates her minions had chased away from the “pizza for all” side show.
