Saw this on a FB Page today. I have no reason to believe that this was not written by Representative DeGraaf. A secret meeting? Say it isn't so! They probably held the meeting at the Denver Zoo in front of the Rino exhibit. Thank you, Rep Ken DeGraaf, for making these statements!
From Rep. Ken DeGraaf
Whip it! Whip it good!
Hello Colorado, the vote for Minority Whip has grabbed the attention of the public which I think is fantastic. You should be interested in how your elected officials are representing you.
There is some confusion as to whether it was @bradleyforco running for the position, or me.
When Brandi announced her candidacy, I was in full support. Brandi is a proven fighter, selfless and very organized. With Brandi in the race, there was no need for me to do so.
The Saturday before the race, Brandi discussed with me if I was interested & willing to serve as Whip in consideration for her young boys at home who already have lost too much of their mom to the gold-domed cesspool. Since there were no other announced candidates up until the nominations, we felt it would be easiest and less confusing for Brandi to explain her withdrawal from the race and then nominate me for the position.
Before the caucus meeting, I spoke with Brandi and confirmed her decision.
Brandi spoke first, withdrew from the race and nominated me. My acceptance was short, letting my record as unarguably the most prolific floor-fighter along with top scores from Liberty ScoreCard, the Colorado Union of Taxpayers and title of “Most Based” by the Libertarian Party of Colorado make my case.
Carlos Barone was subsequently nominated and secured the position in a vote of 13:6. I later learned that this outcome had been predetermined by a sub-caucus over the weekend. I guess I missed that memo.
I very much appreciate Brandi’s confidence and nomination and look forward to serving the people of Colorado to expose & fight Liberty-draining legislation.
Vigilance is the price of Liberty,
Slavery is the price of apathy.
Stay vigilant, My friends.
