Stop Listening to the RINOs When It Comes to the Colorado GOP Amendments!

Well, folks, it seems we’ve found ourselves in yet another tussle between good, honest grassroots conservatives and those oh-so-refined “Republican In Name Only” RINOs, the Traitor Todd clan who wring their hands in contrived horror at even the slightest whiff of necessary reform. You know the type: they use words like “democratic values,” “standard governance practices,” and “fairness” in the same breath, just to lull you into complacency. They’re the same self-proclaimed guardians of “decency” who love a nice, cozy status quo that never quite seems to get Republicans elected in Colorado and love a good failed coup against the sitting offers of the Colorado GOP.

But fear not. I’m here to call these RINOs out on their nonsense and talk about why these six proposed Colorado GOP bylaw amendments are not just good but absolutely essential for a solid working process moving forward. While the RINOs tug at your heartstrings with paranoid visions of “Stalin’s rise to power,” we’re going to highlight how these amendments actually empower the grassroots conservatives, bring real oversight to party leadership (rather than the standard figurehead charade, you know the kind that RINO’s love, and ensure everyone’s on the same pro-conservative, pro-victory page. Because winning is just something, it’s the only thing!

Let’s go through these amendments one by one, and I’ll show you why all this wailing and gnashing of teeth from the Establishment and RINOs is nothing more than overheated melodrama.

Amendment 1 – Candidate Endorsement Changes

What the RINOs say:

“It removes flexibility in our endorsement process!”

“We might have to support a candidate who becomes misaligned with our party values!”

“Blah, blah, blah, the sky is falling!”

What’s actually happening:

The nerve of the Establishment to pitch a fit over an amendment that aims to treat all Republican Assembly/Convention candidates on equal footing, at least at the outset! Heaven forbid we actually give grassroots candidates a chance to be heard. The current system can all too often default to the money Establishment candidates (thanks to the Open Primary and not requiring all candidates to go through Assembly) who do little more than chase purple policies to blend in with the Democrats. By requiring that all Assembly/Convention candidates get our initial support, we ensure the entire field has a fair shot from the start. The horror!

And let’s not pretend that this “we can’t show support if they become misaligned” argument is anything more than a scare tactic. If a candidate truly goes off the rails, there are plenty of ways for the GOP to respond. This amendment simply keeps the door open for up-and-coming grassroots conservatives who might not have the big checks from lobbyists or the stamp of approval from the establishment elites. It also prevents backroom dealmakers from pulling the rug out from under legitimate conservative contenders when it’s convenient. Vote YES to protect genuine grassroots voices.

Amendment 2 – Executive Committee Powers

What the RINOs say:

“It dangerously expands Executive Committee authority!”

“No checks and balances!”

“Abuse of power is imminent!”

What’s actually happening:

Allow me to bring some reality to the conversation. The Colorado GOP’s Executive Committee is neither the KGB nor some mustache-twirling villain looking to silence dissent with a wave of the hand. The committees are there to implement the party’s decisions efficiently, something these RINO worrywarts seem to have forgotten while they’re busy trembling in the corner over something they can’t control.

The reason we need a stronger Executive Committee is simple: efficiency and proactive leadership in a world where we can’t afford to wait until every last holdout of naysayers has finished counting their pocket change. If there’s an issue that truly is “frivolous,” then yes, it should be dismissed swiftly so we can focus on the real battles, like flipping seats from D’s to R’s like in 2024, working to stop the leftist agenda. This is about empowerment, not dictatorship. Vote YES if you want a streamlined, effective party that can act quickly, not one that’s mired in drawn-out drama.

Amendment 3 – Nomination Method Selection

What the RINOs say:

“Removes important procedural details!”

“Could lead to poorly attended nomination meetings!”

“Transparency is at risk!”

What’s actually happening:

Ah yes, the age-old establishment lament: “But we’ve always done it this way!” This is the same argument that has kept them comfortable while election after election, we lose ground to the Democrats. The old guard loves its endless committees, extended timelines, and labyrinthine rules that conveniently stifle fresh, energetic activists who can’t clear all these gates.

By updating how our nomination process is managed and making it more flexible and strategic, we can ensure we’re not tying ourselves in bureaucratic knots every time we want to nominate good conservative candidates. Don’t be fooled by claims of “lack of transparency.” In reality, this amendment shines more light on the fact that the old system can be manipulated to shut out grassroots conservatives. Don’t let the RINOs preserve their archaic system. Vote YES to open doors for fresh, innovative leaders.

Amendment 4 – Officer Removal Process

What the RINOs say:

“It changes the threshold for removal; problematic leadership will be protected!”

“We could have ‘surprise removal votes’ with no meeting called for that purpose!”

“It shields leadership from accountability!”

What’s actually happening:

Because apparently, we should do nothing but plan everyone’s removal from day one, right? Talk about living in fear. The truth is, we already have (and will continue to have) ways to remove officers who genuinely violate party bi-laws. But guess what? We also need to ensure that not every petty squabble or petty faction can oust a leader midstream over a single disagreement. Leaders can’t lead if they have to constantly worry about frivolous attempts at mutiny at every turn.

One of the biggest obstacles to success is the never-ending infighting that some folks, the “Traitor Todd clan,” seem to thrive on. This amendment ensures that if there’s a real reason to remove an officer, we can do it. But if it’s just a bunch of sour grapes because Todd, Eli, or any RINO lost a vote, well, tough luck. We’re not going to upend the entire party every time somebody gets a there butt hurt?. That’s not “shielding leadership from accountability” it’s preserving stability so we can focus on winning. Vote YES for continuity and sanity.

Amendment 5 – New Suspension Rules

What the RINOs say:

“Dangerous precedent of indefinite suspensions!”

“This is targeting participants in that lawsuit!”

“A chilling effect on party reform!”

What’s actually happening:

I know I know: the establishment crowd is absolutely outraged that individuals who sue the party might face, well, consequences. How dare the Colorado GOP defend itself and its resources! Because apparently, in RINO-land, you can file legal actions as often as you like, no matter how frivolous or disruptive, and then expect a hero’s welcome at the next party event. The insanity!

Let’s get real: if you’re actively trying to undermine or bankrupt the party in court, it only makes sense that you might temporarily lose certain privileges until the matter is resolved. This is not about stifling legitimate dissent; it’s about stopping those who repeatedly weaponize the legal system to hamstring the Colorado GOP from the inside. Anyone who actually is committed to building the party up rather than tearing it down shouldn’t fear this. Only troublemakers who prefer court drama over real activism have a reason to squeal about “dangerous precedents.” Vote YES to keep the focus on winning elections, not on never-ending lawsuits.

Amendment 6 – Voting Membership Restructuring

What the RINOs say:

“Drastically reduces representation!”

“Concentrates power!”

“Reduces diversity of viewpoints!”

What’s actually happening:

Gasp! Another meltdown from the folks who always manage to lose elections but cling to their precious seats and titles. Their real fear here isn’t about losing some “diversity of viewpoints.” It’s about losing the ability to manipulate votes behind the scenes. This amendment streamlines the membership so that we can ensure those who are directly responsible, accountable, and dedicated to the party’s success have an actual say.

Listen, having 57 different small-time functionaries with fractional votes might look “inclusive” on paper, but in reality, it dilutes any real leadership and makes it impossible to get anything done. This is not a high school model UN meeting; this is about beating Democrats, or have you forgotten this? By restructuring voting membership, we cut out the muddle and empower the truly involved leaders and volunteers to make important decisions. And if you’re truly worried about “losing your voice,” then maybe get more active in the party rather than just gliding on a seat you once held. Vote YES to streamline and strengthen the Colorado GOP.

On “Democratic Principles” and Accusations of ‘Stalin-esque’ Power Grabs

I hate to break it to the doomsday crowd, but the only “Stalin-esque” tactic here is the fearmongering they’re employing to keep control in the hands of the same old Establishment. They love to say these amendments “serve specific officers.” Well, if by “specific officers” they mean actual grassroots conservative-friendly leaders who are tired of losing, then, yes, guilty as charged! We must start serving those willing to step up and fight for Conservative values and principles, not maintain the Establishment’s old guard’s directionless drift.

This laughable “historical context” argument about punishing “opposition voices” is so far-fetched it’s painful. Enough with the melodrama. These amendments are about building a cohesive GOP party structure, not punishing anyone who doesn’t toe the line.

Why We Need to Pass All These Amendments Right Now

Is this really the time to do a major overhaul? Why, yes—absolutely! Our opponents on the left are masters at strategy; they’re continually perfecting new ways to organize, mobilize, and beat us. Meanwhile, the RINOs prefer to keep us stuck in a broken system that yields the same losing results year after year, election after election. If you think that’s a formula for victory, you should just switch parties and do your damage in the Democrat elections.

The reason these amendments are being pushed is straightforward:

1. We need real reform in our party structure if we want to stop losing statewide elections.

2. We can’t wait any longer while the Republican Establishment and RINOs wasting time.

3. The leadership has recognized the problem and proposed clear solutions.

These amendments solve real issues. They give the Executive Committee the authority to cut through nonsense, ensure candidate endorsement fairness, keep the nomination process from turning into a bureaucratic quagmire, maintain leadership stability, deter frivolous lawsuits, and restructure our voting membership in a way that fosters real accountability.

Conclusion: Vote YES on All Six Amendments

Let’s be honest. The only reason these changes are being portrayed as “dangerous” and “undemocratic” is because they shift power away from self-appointed gatekeepers and hand it to the folks who actually care about winning elections and promoting genuine conservative values and principles. When the Establishment and RINOs start whining about “democratic principles” and “standard governance practices,” you can be pretty sure they’re more worried about losing their comfortable seats and power than preserving any real democracy.

We’ve tried their way for over the past 20 years, and look where it’s gotten us: diminishing electoral outcomes and a hemorrhaging GOP brand in Colorado. Now it’s time for real reform, reforms that unify the party around a bold, grassroots conservative agenda, give each candidate a fair shake, and empower leaders to lead without drowning in red tape.

So, if you’re tired of losing and of being told by RINOs that you should sit down, shut up, and let them run the show into the ground, then I have just one recommendation: Vote YES on all these amendments. Let’s show the naysayers that we’re not going to be gaslit with hyperbolic Stalin comparisons and fearmongering. Let’s stand with the current Colorado GOP Officers who have the guts to propose real solutions rather than cling to the stale status quo.

In short: Stop listening to Traitor Todd’s old guard “No” folks. Vote YES across the board, and let’s make the Colorado GOP a bold, winning force again. It’s time we told the RINOs, “Thanks, but no thanks,” and paved a fresh path for conservative victory.
